All of our cutting boards are crafted from Appalachian Maple.
Exotic and domestic wood species used in our various designs include:

Fish - African Lacewood body, American Walnut face and Purple Heart fins
Fleur De Lis – American Walnut inlay and Purple Heart ring
Horse Head - White Oak oval Brazilian Cherry OR Padouk face and Walnut mane
Ladybug - African Padauk OR Brazilian Cherry body with African Wenge dots
African Fish (Three versions) - African Wenge, Walnut OR Purple Heart
Pineapple – African Lacewood OR Walnut fruit, with Walnut OR Wenge crosshatch and Purple Heart leafy stem
This unique cutting board / cheese board was hand - crafted in Louisville, Kentucky. We hope you enjoy your board and use it for cutting and serving every day!
Care and preservation of your Kentucky Cutting Board
* Before first use, wash and rinse board well.
* After each use, wash normally using a soft sponge and detergent.
* To maintain wood, occasionally rub mineral or salad bowl oil into board with soft cloth after washing.
* Store in a ventilated place (avoid closed storage, such as a drawer).
* Do not leave board submerged in water.
* Do not dry board in sun, nor in standing position inside sink.
* Do not place board in oven or refrigerator.
* Although the inlaid side of your cutting board is perfectly safe to cut and serve food on, we recommend that you cut on the alternate side, and use the design side for display in order to retain the beauty of the species of wood.
